ATREYU!!!!!

OK. So, everyone has a band that, given a choice, they will choose over others. That, my friends, is called a "favorite". I listen to many different types of music and, as a musician, I appreciate all genres of music. If you listened to my MP3 player, you'd be surprised at the variety (or maybe you wouldn't). It goes from Kelly Clarkson to The Used, to Dixie Chicks. It's all quite diverse. My FAVORITE band just happens to be an alternative metal band. Their name is ATREYU and they started in 1998 in Orange County, California. ATREYU is: Alex Varkatzas (Vocals), Dan Jacobs and Travis Miguel (Guitars), Marc McKnight (Bass), Brandon Saller (Drums/Vocals). They got their name from the major character from the movie The Neverending Story. Since they started, they have released four albums: Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses; The Curse; A Death Grip On Yesterday; and Lead Sails Paper Anchor. Each album has sold more than 200,000 copies. They have some really good songs. I particularly like "Lip Gloss and Black", "The Crimson", "Becoming the Bull", and "Right Side of the Bed".
